I’ve now upgraded the machine to 10.5.3. No visible differences. All the work must be behind the scenes, and a few new checkboxes and bells and whistles.

I’ve been having issues with Time Machine. It’s been sticking at 9GB out of my 250GB backup. It even stuck after I started backing to a totally different drive.
Looks like it’s broke through that 9GB barrier tonight, so maybe it’s working again.
I need this backup to work, so I’m comfortable doing the 10.5.3 upgrade.
