Create tables in Evernote? An easy way

I’m looking for a way to embed Microsoft Excel into Evernote, the fabulous online syncing and backup tool that I find myself using every day.
Ruben has found a way, though it’s a bit hacky:

Evernote Premium services (almost) available - monthly upload limits?

Upgrading my Evernote Mac client to Version 1.1.1 Beta 31506 tonight gave me a hint as to what’s to come with Evernote, and how the premium pricing may work. I’ll be happy to pay for an Evernote account, I’m just using it this Beta so much, and have great comfort from having my data backed [...]

Features that I hope Evernote will have soon

Here’s a list of features, in no particular order, that I hope Evernote will have soon.
1 - I’d like more transparency as to how secure my backups are. I’m probably being a bit cheeky here, the service is free (for now), and I guess its not in Evernote Corporation’s interest to have a big data [...]

Piloting Evernote as a paperless office

I’ve started today to pilot Evernote Beta as my paperless office. It’s working well. This is what I did.
First I selected a bunch of paperwork that I wanted scanned in and keep in Evernote. I selected a folder of 20 2-sided credit card statements, documents I want to keep but I don’t need the originals [...]

When will Evernote release their premium version?

I’m now over half way through my Evernote size quota.
At this rate I’m rapidly approaching the 200MB limit, especially as I intend to scan in and store a few bills and invoices as a bit of a paperless office trial.

I like Evernote. I like the way I can use it at home, at work, and [...]

Evernote is thinking about the long term

An interview with the CEO of Evernote - Phil Libin. I’m glad the interviewer asked him about the long-term. I get a bit worried about locking all my data into Evernote.
So it’s comforting to know Mr Libin is a charter member of the Long Now foundation given that the internet won’t be around in 50 [...]

Is Evernote about to impose a quota?

I’ve been using Evernote for a couple months now - I was lucky enough to get an invite to their private beta program.

I was on the account page today and I noticed that there’s a quota bar - I’m sure that’s new ?
I remember reading an interview with Phil Libin, the CEO, and he was [...]

A simple representation of my blogging process with Evernote

Thinking in pictures

I think in pictures, a lot of the time. I like to draw diagrams, arrows, pictures and processes to illustrate my methods of doing things.

This (rather crude) diagram illustrates my blogging process, which I use for my other blogs [...]
